Tiong Eng Phua (Krish)

Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor

Krish Phua is a certified Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. He has been in counselling field since 2013, specializing in trauma, mental health, substance and behavioral addictions, gender and sexuality, HIV and AIDS, couple and family therapy.

He has vast counselling and psychotherapy experiences in different settings such as in counselling centres, recovery centres, prison, hospital, halfway house, special school, educational institutions etc, providing individual, couple, family and group therapy as well as facilitating mental health talks and workshops to different profiles of client and community.

He leads and guides in crisis management, case conceptualization and management, intervention and treatment formulation, care coordination, and psychosocial support to numerous marginalized community members in need.

Krish served in a key position at a major charitable organization for the past 12 years, working with clients and their families across the lifespan, in the autism field. Previously, he was in senior management positions in the private sector for more than 15 years.

Krish holds an MBA and an MSc in Professional Counselling, while pursuing a PhD in Counselling Psychology currently.
