Have you ever noticed that you seem to have a different "operating system" for every room you enter? A specific way of being for your team, another for your partner, and another for your family?
For high-achievers, this is often the result of years of high-level adaptation.
We become so proficient at meeting the demands of our environment that our identity becomes fragmented. We start to feel like we are playing a series of parts, rather than living one life.
In this week's video, we talk about why these "masks" aren't actually fakes, they are just different ways your essence has learned to survive and succeed.
The goal isn't to get rid of them, but to reintegrate them.
Watch week's 13 video here or above.
Your reflection for this week:
Look at the various roles you occupy.
What is the one thread - the common denominator - that runs through all of them, no matter the manifestation?
I am currently exploring the deeper implications of being a "high-functioning" individual through the lens of my Integrative Essence Therapy framework.
My goal is to help people move away from a state of chronic adaptation constantly reacting to external demands toward a state of true internal alignment.
